My Intention For 2018

My Intention For 2018


It’s almost a week into 2018 and I thought this morning that I would start journaling on how I intend to live my life in 2018….

Better late than never, right? 😉

I’m not much of an intention setter, although I think that they’re a great way to stay focused on what you do actually want to bring to life….

So maybe this year my intention will be to set more intentions 😂😂.

When I actually sat down and thought about it…

My intention for this year is to focus on feeling amazing inside and out 👌

1. That means no longer tolerating shit (people/things) that make me feel bad about myself or energetically drain me….

This is so important! I literally feel like I talk about this ALL the time, but I don’t even care. When being around other people drains you or causes you to feel negative emotions inside, it’s best to remove yourself from their presence because it becomes TOXIC to your physical/mental/emotional/energetic environment.

This might mean cutting off relationships all together or just distancing yourself from people/things that make you feel this way.

I feel like I need to add this in as well…

Nobody can make you feel a certain way. So technically nobody can make you feel bad about yourself. Only YOU can control how other people make you feel by the meaning you give to their actions.

With that being said…

If you can’t control how you react to someone’s actions/inactions and it causes you to react in a way that makes you feel bad or drains your energy…

Then YOU need to take the action of distancing/removing yourself from the toxic situation for your own health and sanity.

What are you no longer willing to tolerate this year?

2. Do more shit that lights me up inside and have more fun!

It’s pretty self-explanatory, but yeah. Looking back on the past year…

I realized that I didn’t spend as much time doing things that lit me up. Instead, I spent most of my time stuck in inaction trying to figure out the ‘how’ of everything instead of just doing what I need to do for myself on a soul level and let the Universe work it’s magic on the rest!

Not only that, but if you’re not having fun or doing shit that lights you up, what the fuck are you doing with your life? 🤔

3. Exercise & eat healthy EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

In my prior experiences in life, I only exercised and ate healthy to lose weight. So basically to get in and stay in shape.

Obviously I still want to look amazing, but I also want to develop a habit, lifestyle and mindset around doing both because of how it makes me feel rather than just to lose weight.

Both help to uplevel my vibe, give me more energy, confidence and just make me feel good about myself in general so my goal is to just ingrain it into my identity and make exercising and eating healthy daily part of just who I am.

4. Dress up and make myself feel pretty 💋

I always just feel good when I actually take time to put myself together…

So why not do it more often?

I’m not saying that it’s bad to hang around in your chill clothes and no make up on…

It’s just when that becomes your normal and you start feeling like crap because you stop taking pride in what you look like….

Then it becomes an issue!

It’s actually insane how many girls hate themselves. There’s nothing worse than hating the person you are stuck with 24/7 for LIFE… so it’s best to work on that relationship ASAP!

5. Continue working on my mindset!

None of the above can happen without tuning in and listening to what I need to give myself to feel amazing inside and out without doing the inner work aka mindset work.

You are an ever evolving creature….

Today, this one thing might make you feel amazing, but 6 weeks from now it might be a “HELL NO” in your life.

Doing the inner work helps you realize this faster so you spend less time engaging in hell no’s and more time in “HELL YES!”. 😉
